Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

It Is Time.

AMG! I can't believe it. It doesn't seem two minutes ago since I first mentioned it, but October is here, already.

I've been looking forward to this month for quite a while, as some of you might know. It's a very busy and exciting month for me, but I don't think I'm quite ready for it, eek!

It's also special to me for other reasons.
For starters it marks the first anniversary of me joining DeviantART (yay, birthday) as well as the first anniversary of making my very first costume!

In just a year I've gained almost 300 (295 to be exact) and almost 10,000 page views - wow! Thank you so much guys! I might not express it often, but your support really means the world to me, and I can't believe that so many people like my work enough to watch, I love you all! <3

To celebrate, I promise you guys I will have lots of pretty new pictures to upload, because I'm now calling October the cosplay month!

Here's why:


First up is Play Expo which has to be one of, my favourite conventions. Two day long gaming convention? YES PLEASE.

It crept up a lot quicker than I expected, so of course I have practically nothing ready for it and it's NEXT FREAKING WEEK.

I'm actually too excited for words, but I'm also panicking like hell because I have to pull a whole costume together in that time, and that's pretty tricky considering I'm working right up to the day... WISH ME LUCK.

Here's my schedule for the weekend:
Saturday: Vongola Primo, with ~Kaivallone as Cavallone Primo, and *chocolate-revel as Sawada Tsunayoshi. (Sexy trio is sexy)
Sunday: Revamped Twilight Princess Link

In case you hadn't guessed, or you missed my posts, TP Link was the first costume I ever made myself, exactly a year ago.
I'm testing out the skills I've picked up in that time and putting a brand new and much more impressive version, which I'm itching to finish and show you!

After this is London MCM Expo, and two whole weeks off work! FYEAH.
What do I even say now? It's going to my first big, London convention and could quite possibly be the best weekend of my life.

I'm seeing lots of all friends again there, as well as meeting new ones, which is always fun! I get to spend a weekend in London with my best friends & to top it off I'm part of 4, yes 4! amazing groups throughout the weekend.

Of course, here be the schedule!:
Friday: Skyward Sword Zelda, with *RaikiriSkyfall as my Link <3
Saturday: Twilight Princess Link, with a HUUUGE TP group filled which unbelievably talented cosplayers. the fangirl in me cannot take this much awesome
Sunday: Alice with *RaikiriSkyfall as my Oz <3/ Hibari Kyoya and KHR group.
Evenings/after events: Hibari Kyoya, for ~Kaivallone and I cannot resist the D18.

There is nothing better than cosplaying in a group. I just... I can't explain it. It is perfection. I AM A HAPPY LEX.
and I just noticed that for each of my costumes I have someone with me who makes up the other half of my OTP... could this get any better?!

So, maybe you're thinking it ends there? NOPE.
Shortly after is Halloween, of course, and I'm getting together with a few friends for some fabulously spooky fun. Well, maybe not spooky, but it'll definitely be fun!

So I can promise you lots of photoshoots are coming your way. I hope this pleases people!

& I just can't get over how it's already been a whole year... wow.
